Half a dozen of Sheenagh Pugh's excellent translations from the poetry of Jammes, Holty, Von Hofmannswaldau and others, round off this thoroughly enjoyable collection.

In this collection of poems, Sheenagh Pugh introduces us to Mozart playing billiards, the last wolf in Scotland and Guy Fawkes' girlfriend. The collection is completed by translations from the German poetry of Holty, van Hofmannswaldau and others. Pugh's previous works include "Earth Studies" (1983), "Beware Falling Tortoises" (1987) and "Selected Poems" (1990), which won the Welsh Arts Council Prize for poetry.
