"God has spoken - of that there is no doubt. In the first chapter of the book of Genesis we read "and God said" (v3). Throughout the Bible we read that God spoke. In the last book of the Bible we read "Behold I am coming soon! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy in this book" (Revelation 22:7) So God wants us to understand and obey what He says. Yes God has spoken but the question is "What has He said?" How can two people who claim to understand God arrive at a different meaning of what God has said? Why do we have so many cults today all claiming they know what God has said? The purpose of this book is to try and make some sense of what God has said by looking at ways of interpreting and understanding God's Word. This is not a technical book, but rather a general help to ordinary people to improve their understanding of the Bible and to make studying it a more fruitful exercise.
