Jennifer Day is the founder/director of Applied Emotional Mastery Inc., offering coaching and resources to build emotional intelligence and healthy communication. A counselor, coach, and educator as well as an author, she has worked with children and parents and families for over 30 years. Originally a teacher and choreographer in the performing arts training professional dancers, she then studied psychology after which she spent nine years researching various approaches to managing emotions and stress, in the UK, California and Hawaii. The results of her studies and work is outlined in her books, written specifically for busy parents to apply practically.
