Ben Venue: Loch Ard Forest and the Trossachs (Superwalker)

This map covers the area beyond Callander in the south eastern part of the National Park, including Loch Ard Forest (popular for mountain biking) and The Trossachs. This map for hillwalkers covers Ben Venue and the Menteith Hills. This sheet provides an excellent mountain bike map of Loch Ard Forest and trails are shown on the map. In the west of the area is Loch Katrine which has a pleasure steamer service. Beside the loch is a water board tarmac road closed to cars but providing excellent cycling. This allows you to circumnavigate the loch on a combination of tracks and quiet roads.
