Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Pietro Carlo Cacciabue è l'autore della prima edizione del presente volume ed è stato per circa 10 anni titolare del Corso di Sicurezza del Trasporto Aereo presso il Politecnico di Milano, Dipartimento di Ingegneria Aerospaziale. Ricercatore da oltre 30 anni nel dominio della sicurezza nucleare e aeronautica, è autore di numerose pubblicazioni scientifiche e continua l'attività accademica e di ricerca presso l'Università di Kingston, UK. Italo Oddone è titolare del Corso di Sicurezza del Trasporto Aereo presso il Politecnico di Milano, Dipartimento di Ingegneria Aerospaziale. È pilota militare/civile, attualmente in pensione, con oltre 14.000 ore di volo ed è il Presidente del Comitato Italiano Sicurezza Volo ("Italian Flight Safety Committee" - IFSC). Ivan Rizzolo, titolare del corso di Sicurezza nel Trasporto e nelle Infrastrutture Strategiche e di Sicurezza del Trasporto Aereo presso l'Università di Padova, ha al suo attivo numerose pubblicazioni e collaborazioni con altri atenei italiani sui temi della Safety aerea e Security e gestione del rischio delle operazioni in sistemi organizzativi complessi.
