Neil Gaiman is considered one of the most talented and popular authors of his generation. For nearly thirty years, Gaiman has produced novels, short stories, film and television scripts, comic books and graphic novel series. In more recent years, Gaiman has maintained a prolific online presence through his blog, Tumblr and Twitter. Alexandra Dunne graduated from the University of Limerick with a BA in English and History, and from the National University of Ireland, Galway, with an MA in Literature and Publishing. Her graduate thesis focussed on contemporary science fiction publishing in Ireland. Alexandra's academic interests lie within the field of speculative fiction, its cultural influence, and its interaction with feminist thought. She was part of the review committee for "Magic is Might 2012". Grainne O'Brien graduation from the University of Limerick with a BA in English and History and an MA in Gender, Culture and Society. Her research and publications focus on adult themes found in children's literature. She co-organised "Magic is Might 2012", and academic conference focussed on the Harry Potter series. She co-edited a collection based on papers presented at the conference that was published in 2013.
