Andrea Schomburg started making poems before she could even write. Having learned the latter since, she writes poems, books and stories for adults and children and has quite lost trace of how many. She lives in Berlin. When not writing, she enjoys film, walking in the countryside and meeting friends.

Barbara Röttgen's heartfelt creation for her brother's wedding unexpectedly blossomed into a children's book. As an educator, she inspires children to trust their imagination and follow their ideas. She finds inspiration in quiet moments and dreams of living and writing by the sea one day.

Sean Julian enjoyed art from an early age, focusing on potato printmaking and creating plasticine dinosaurs. Years later he studied at the Mansfield College of Art, before moving to Bristol to study illustration. Being rather big and hairy himself, he was always happiest illustrating big, hairy creatures such as bears and gorillas. This naturally led to a career in children's books. He now has over twenty years' experience illustrating and writing for children.
