This book is an inspiring collection of some of their stories, thoughts and poems, with an introduction to the "Open Door" philosophy by Series Editor Patricia Scanlan, and specially commissioned pieces by other "Open Door" authors. The experiences of this group was captured in a six-part TV series called "Written Off?", broadcast on RTAe One in 2009.
