Inhaltsangabe

Immortalized for his criminal activities, Howard Marks's public life story is a heady mix of fact and fiction about "one of the most sophisticated drug barons of all time". In "Two Dragons", he writes his hitherto untold story of how a chance conversation with a black American imprisoned for murder led him to embark on a personal journey that took him back to his Welsh roots and around the globe to research his ancestry. He discovered that his great-great grandfather's half-brother was the equally notorious outlaw, Billy the Kid. Throughout the journey, Howard Marks embraces contemporary Wales by making friends with some of Wales's greatest names in the acting and music professions, including Rhys Ifans, the Super Furry Animals and the Stereophonics. His search led him to a past and present inextricably linked to his sense of identity, his nationality and his pride in being Welsh.
