Eric the First - Hardcover

Inhaltsangabe

This is the very funny tale of a boy on the verge of teenagerdom. Eric is on the verge of becoming a teenager. He's got the questioning attitude, he's discovered that talking to girls makes him blush, and some of his body parts are behaving as they never have before. Eric's family aren't much help: his father avoids any responsibility, his older sister Cynthia lives to fight him, thriving in his humiliation...and his mother rather wishes she could do the same. His friends? Slasher tries to be hard; Gormless George always lives up to his name and Colin's a bit flakey. With Eric falling for Jane and a school exchange trip to France on the horizon, life is about to get interesting. Fully of surprises, triumphs, and embarrassments, "Eric the First" really captures the essence of what it is to be (almost) a teenager. Take one part Just William, one part Adrian Mole and one part Horrid Henry, and Eric is the (nearly) teenager you'd meet. He's annoying, he's endearing, and Eric the First is a hugely enjoyable, funny read.
