The humans don't have a clue as to who the culprit is, but the trail of the fur-loving Cruella de Vil, who will stop at nothing to have a Dalmatian fur coat!

Martin Jarvis is one of Britain's most distinguished actors. Now a resident of Lost Angeles, he recently starred in By Jeeves, the acclaimed Andrew Lloyd Webber production. Mr. Jarvis has appeared in many award-winning West End and Royal National Theater productions as well as many films and international television programs. He was awarded the OBE (Order of the British Empire) in 2000 by the Queen for his services to drama.

About the Author:

Dodie Smith (1896 – 1990) was an English children's novelist and playwright, known best for the novel The Hundred and One Dalmatians (1956). Other works include I Capture the Castle (1948), and The Starlight Barking (1967). The Hundred and One Dalmatians was adapted into a 1961 Disney animated movie version. Her novel I Capture the Castle was adapted into a 2003 movie version. I Capture the Castle was voted number 82 as "one ofthe nation's 100 best-loved novels" by the British public as part of the BBC 's The Big Read (2003).
