Inhaltsangabe

Simply Red is one of the most successful bands in the world. With album sales of over 50 million and rising, a string of sold-out stadium tours plus a host of awards, the band's founder, singer/songwriter Mick Hucknall, has become recognised as one of popular music's most talented and influential artists. This official book will tie in with the release of their next album, "Amplified", and subsequent tour in October 2006. Mick will promote the products alongside each other, promising marketing and publicity on a global scale that only the music industry and its superstars can truly deliver. Packed with photographs, many never before seen from Hucknall's personal collection, "Holding Back the Years" offers a fascinating insight into one of the biggest bands to emerge in the past two decades, and also a revealing portrait of the man who founded it.
