Book Description:

A rare analysis that – for the first time – examines the crises of a region mired in political strife and ambiguity.

From the Back Cover:

'Sodier's talk by a soldier- Lt General Mukherjee gives a crisp unvarnished account of our north-east and what ails it, with empathy, emphasis, and the personal knowledge of someone who has been there. I strongly support and fully endorse everything that Lt. General Mukherjee has said in his book. But the problem is: will anyone who matters ever read this book? Will anyone listen?'
