David Stevens: international garden designer, winner of 11 gold medals at the Chelsea Flower Show. Writes for the major newspapers and gardening magazines, and broadcasts regularly. Previous books include: Designing Your Ideal Garden, Town Gardens, Simple Garden Projects, Small Gardens and Backyards, The Garden Design Sourcebook, and Garden Features and Ornament. Jerry Harpur: well-known and highly respected garden photographer who has photographed gardens worldwide. his photographs illustrate Creating Period Gardens and Temples of Delight: Stowe Landscape Garden. He has contributed to over a hundred books including The Garden Book, The Garden Design Sourcebook and The RHS Encyclopedia of Flowers and Plants. His work also appears regularly in Ideal Home, House and Garden and Good Housekeeping.
