Peter was born and raised in Carlisle and now resides in Newcastle with his wife Sophie, baby Albie and their two Labradors Archie and Ruby. He has written both fiction and non-fiction for children and adults, often in the speculative fiction genre. Within his stories he aims to raise awareness around mental illness through habitually a dark and quirky take on family life and surroundings with his two dogs often as leading protagonists. His writing is dedicated to all those struggling with mental health and a fight for heightened awareness, having suffered himself with depression and anxiety commencing at the age of 36.
