This best selling book isn’t a ‘how to’ of school leadership. It’s a ‘how do’.
It's a curated collection of advice from a diverse group of school leaders. In their words, in their voices, and through their stories, how do this sample of school leaders approach Headship, and what have they learnt along the way?
You'll learn how leaders cope with change and how they survive the stresses of the job. You'll discover what resources you should buy to make your life easier. And those to avoid. You'll be guided away from myths, fallacies and fads and towards proven and effective wisdom - all through the words of the Head's themselves.
The counsel of various 'wise Heads' has saved me years of wasted effort and frustration. I hope it can do the same for you.
