Cindy grew up in a small town in southwestern Ontario, leaving as soon as she finished high school to chase some big-city dreams. Putting herself through college, building a career and eventually having kids were the key parts of her 10-year plan! Cindy learned quickly that life doesn't always turn out as you plan.She moved back to rural living to become what she never envisioned for herself: a farmer, born out of the necessity to replace the life she wanted with a new dream. Life was remarkable while raising cattle, pigs, goats, chickens, ducks, geese, guinea fowl and quail on her very own organic farm. She raised more than a little hell in changing the local food market and led the charge with monthly meat subscriptions.Now Cindy welcomes the next chapter of her life after a big move across the country with a new love and his three kids. Rumbling over the Canadian shield in an RV to move to Alberta to begin her journey as a writer and full-time stepmother, she learned that some dreams just take a little longer to arrive.
