Dirty Angel: The Angel Rises - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

Eleven-year-old Jane Banks has lived a life mired by tragedy - her mother was brutally murdered, her father is missing, presumed dead, and Jane is left alone, with huge gaps in her memory, to fend for herself at a boarding school where she is an outcast. Such pain would be more than any ordinary girl could bear. But Jane is no ordinary girl, and she knows more about her parents' deaths than she's letting on... Hellbent on revenge against the man who killed her parents, Jane must confront her own dark past, plunging into a world of corporate greed, corruption, and clandestine experiments too sick and cruel to be believed. But her opponent is a force to be reckoned with - brutal, heartless and sadistic, with the most powerful people in the world in his back pocket. What's more, he wants Jane - she is an experiment herself, after all, and experiments need to be studied.
