Richard Buxton is a freelance football journalist who has covered Everton for the last 15 years. He has written for numerous outlets in both the UK and overseas, including FourFourTwo, the Football Association, Sunday Mirror, Sports Illustrated, Metro and MARCA. His previous book Fine Margins: How Manchester City and Liverpool Forged Football's Ultimate Rivalry was released in 2020.
