Out of 10 people at work, only three say they are engaged. Only three say they have a balanced life or balance in their life. If seven aren’t engaged nor balanced, they probably aren’t having fun at and away from work. As fun coaches, recreational programmers, and facilitative trainers for the past 30 years, we feel there are still too many people who lack awareness of the concept of fun at work. Even though many in the team building industry have been playing their part to make the work environment more efficient and friendly, there are still too many teams who are disengaged and frustrated.
