Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
André Franquin was as important and influential throughout his career as Hergé, moulding and training dozens of artists through his long years at Spirou magazine. Creator of the Marsupilami and of Gomer Goof, he was in charge of Spirou & Fantasio for 20 years. Yannis known for his ferocious humour and his enduring cynicism; he's one of the most essential writers of the comics scene, with over 50 series under his belt. A Belgian artist and colourist, Batem was chosen by Franquin to illustrate the solo adventures of his favourite animal, the Marsupilami.

Noah, Donald, and Solorio, having rescued the rest of the children kidnapped by the ruthless gold prospectors of the Palombian rainforest, have escaped up the Boavista River, despite the rumours of terrible danger in that region. One evening, frightened by, yet drawn towards, demented laughter in the distance, they discover a lost temple, and at its top, a mysterious light. Worried about them, the Marsupilami soon joins them again - and not a moment too soon...
