Über die Autorinnen und Autoren

Margaret Jackson is an Emeritus Professor at the College of Business and Law, RMIT University. Emeritus Professor Jackson conducts research in the areas of computer law, Big Data, data protection and privacy, and artificial intelligence. She is the co-author (with Dr G Hughes) of Private Life in a Digital World, Thomson Reuters 2015; co-author (with Dr M Shelly) of Electronic Information and the Law, Thomson Reuters 2012, author of A Practical Guide to Protecting Confidential Business Information, LawBookCo 2003, and author of Hughes on Data Protection in Australia, LawBook Co 2001.

Marita Shelly has been a researcher on various multi-disciplinary research projects relating to research data management, the use of social media by Australian courts, the copyright issues related to electronic information and the legal implications of using the internet. She has co-authored a book Electronic Information and the Law, Thomson Reuters 2012, (with Emeritus Professor Jackson) as well as several refereed journal articles and book chapters.
