James Murdock is a writer, naturalist, and educator from Jasper County, Georgia. He holds an MFA in narrative nonfiction from the University of Georgia and has contributed to many journals and magazines, including the Bitter Southerner, Panorama, and Salvation South. Murdock writes about nature connection, spirituality, and living against the machine of modern culture. In Think, Dear Daughter, his first poetry collection, Murdock provides vivid images of the farm east of Atlanta where he and his daughter reside.
