Alix Nelson didn’t know much about the job interview she was frantically trying to drive to, but she knew in her gut this wasn’t just going to be another in a long line of them, but THE job interview. The listing didn’t give much away: the position was for an advertising executive that would bring an old, established firm into the modern world, and even better, there was no experience required. It’s now on Alix to connect these larger-than-life deities to the rest of humanity, relaying their new (old) religion through a cutting-edge marketing campaign.It’s already a lot to take in, but things get even more overwhelming when Zeus and other jealous Gods descend on Alix’s sleepy little town of Tricklewood-on-the-Marsh. With the stakes only getting bigger and the squabbles of these powerful creatures threatening what was once an unassuming community, Alix forms an unlikely bond with Hermes to unite the two warring sides.
