Adult Physical Dysfunction and the Occupational Therapy Process was written to engage and educate entry-level therapists about common clinical conditions affecting people. The text includes clinical indications, interventions, and general practice guidelines for conditions like stroke, traumatic brain injury, visual perceptual disorders, and orthopedic conditions. It will assist in the development of clinical practice skills, evaluation skills, and identifying assessment criteria for new therapists.

This text explains and develops fundamental assessments techniques based on the occupational therapy process. The Occupational Therapy Practice Framework III (AOTA) and domains of practice from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) is used as a basis for occupational therapy intervention.
