Jesus in Me: Experiencing the Holy Spirit as a Constant Companion - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

The internationally recognised Bible teacher and daughter of Billy Graham unpacks key biblical truths wrapped in personal insights to reveal how the presence of the Holy Spirit shapes the daily life of a Jesus follower. We may know something about God and something about Jesus, but what do we know about the Holy Spirit? Too often we seem to overlook the third person of the Trinity, perhaps because we don't know much about Him. He seems mystical. Reserved for super spiritual Christians. We might even say He intimidates us - or somehow seems optional. Anne Graham Lotz has good news for us. As children of God, we have the Holy Spirit in us - to counsel, to comfort, and to guide us. In Jesus in Me, Anne explores the personal and practical implications of seven aspects of the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer, including His presence, purpose, power, and provision. She observes, "One of my deepest, richest joys has been discovering by experience who the Holy Spirit is in every step of my life's journey. Each name that He has been given - Helper, Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor, Counsellor, Strengthener, and Standby - reveals another aspect of His beautiful character and has provoked in me a deep love for the One who is my constant companion...Jesus in me." Understanding the Holy Spirit's presence in us is life-changing and world-changing. Discover how you can better love and rely on the person of the Holy Spirit - and embrace how much He loves you.
