DBC Pierre is one of the world's most uncompromising literary voices and the author of the novels Vernon God Little, Ludmila's Broken English, Lights Out In Wonderland and Meanwhile In Dopamine City. Vernon God Little sold in forty-three territories and won the Man Booker Prize, the Whitbread Prize for Best First Novel, the Bollinger Wodehouse Everyman Award and the James Joyce Award.
