Mike Barratt was raised as one of four children born close together and has spent most of his working life in the toy industry, working with children's products and has never really grown up as a result. He currently works as a toy company director. Having done all the bedtime reading for his own two daughters he decided to try to write something that kids would enjoy listening to and parents would enjoy reading!
