This book focuses on approaches to teaching and learning that integrate emerging technologies to enhance the quality of education. Her research focuses on building bridges between the worlds of diplomacy and academia to promote effective policy responses and coherent policy-making. Miltiadis D. Lytras is Research Professor at Deree College - The American College of Greece, Greece, and Visiting Researcher at Effat University, Saudi Arabia. His research explores the broad field defined by education in correlation with cognitive computing, information systems, technology enabled innovation, social networks, computers in human behavior, and knowledge management. Linda Daniela is Professor, Chair of the Council for Promotion in Pedagogy, Head of the Scientific Institute of Pedagogy at the University of Latvia, Latvia, and Expert of Education at the Council of Sciences of the Republic of Latvia, Latvia. Her research interests include virtual education, smart education, educational technologies for learning, educational robotics, and solutions for reducing social exclusion from the educational process.
