Inhaltsangabe

A fast-paced and thrilling crime tale set by the beach. While trying to enjoy his summer, Finn finds himself in the middle of a murder scene when balancing stones under the cliffs. Already dealing with an ill mother and a turbulent uncle, Finn suddenly has a lot more on his plate. Now it is his duty to find out exactly what went on down at his favourite part of the beach... before the worst happens. "There is a lot of plot to this novel, with clues pointing to the murder and the backdrop of Fin's escape from the authorities. The build-up is good and the action scenes are exciting." The Edge "a first class read, full of adventure and ultimate hope - a real page turner!" Healthy Books "I loved this book this and I am by no means a teenager so it really will appeal to all ages." Amazon review 5 stars "Great for young teenagers" Amazon review 5 stars

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

John Townsend was born in Chelmsford, Essex, and discovered his enchantment with books at an early age. As a child, he wrote mini dramas, silly poems and stories to tell the cat. Whether or not the cat wanted to hear them is another matter! His love of hiking and the outdoors led him to become a geography teacher in Gloucestershire, writing pantomimes and plays for the annual drama productions. His first publication was inspired by his rusty old Morris Minor, and nearly 200 books later, he is now a full-time writer. Mainly focusing on non-fiction, he is a National Literacy Trust 'Reading Champion', and runs boys' literacy projects in schools. He is a regular Shades 2.0 series author.
