Sir Gareth Edwards chooses 50 great moments in the history of rugby union. Amongst them are team tries from the end of the world, last-minute kicks which meant the world and individual skills which are out of this world, featuring players from all the major rugby-playing nations. They also include off-the-field episodes, some of which changed the face of rugby for ever. There are the perennial favourites, of course. But there are also more surprising, more personal choices, reflecting Gareth’s knowledge and love of the game. From William Webb Ellis to Grand Slams to World Cup finals, and with over 150 photographs, Great Rugby Moments tells the story of rugby union through a series of memorable cameos.
