Richard Crowder is a British diplomat and independent historian. Educated at Oxford and Harvard Universities, he served in UK Foreign Office for over two decades, with postings in Moscow, Brussels and Islamabad. He is the author of Aftermath: Makers of the Postwar World (2015) and Détente: The Chance to End the Cold War (2020).
