Jim Davidson was born in Blackheath, London and found his way into show business when he went along to a pub in Woolwich where the regular stand up comedian hadn t turned up. Now he is firmly established as one of Britain s top stand-up comedians and he is well known to TV viewers as the host of BBC TV game shows Generation Game and Big Break. He also received an OBE for his services to charity.

In January 2014, Jim was crowned the winner of Channel 5 s Celebrity Big Brother with a landslide victory of more than 50% of the public vote a record for any reality TV.
