Imperial War Museum First World War Posters wall calendar 2015 (Art calendar)

The Art of Fine Gifts: 2014 will mark the centenary anniversary of the outbreak of the First World War, and the beginning of a four year long programme of events to commemorate those who died in the conflict. This calendar presented in connection with The Imperial War Museum brings together a selection of posters from early wartime, from posters encouraging men to join the army to those reminding civilians not to buy new clothes unnecessarily. Informative text accompanies each work and the datepad features previous and next month's views.

IWM is unique in its coverage of conflicts, especially those involving Britain and the Commonwealth, from the First World War to the present day.
