Author Dr Phil Manning heads the Paleontology Research Group in the School of Earth, Atmospheric and Environmental Sciences at the University of Manchester, England. He has presented TV shows for the National Geographic Channel, BBC, and History Channel, and has delivered public lectures across the globe, from Japan to South America. He spends much of his time developing new techniques, applying 21st century techniques to exploring the history of life on Earth. He is one of the world's leading dinosaur experts and author of several books.

Artist Peter Minister is an illustrator and digital modeler. He worked for several years as a special effects model maker producing sculptures, props, and special effects for film, museums, and theme parks. Today he works as a digital artist producing illustrations for books and digital models for games and TV. Prehistoric reconstructions - particularly dinosaurs - are his specialty and he has worked with Phil Manning on several projects.
