Pam Pointer's astute observations of life are seen in this collection of poems. Here is a pick'n'mix of humour, pathos, reflection and wonder - about nature, people and places. I find some poetry hard to understand, said Pam. So my aim is to write poems that are accessible, but that have something worthwhile to say. My main goal is for the collection to entertain. If it causes amusement, gives encouragement and issues a few challenges, that's a bonus. Pam Pointer is the author of several books of non-fiction, including 'The Also Rans', 'The Seven Ages of Man' and 'Why Didn't God Create Me With Green Hair?' She enjoys writing and broadcasting morning thoughts for local radio, has written many articles for magazines and is a keen photographer. She is married, has three daughters and three grandchildren, and lives in Wiltshire, England.
