Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Peter Wohlleben is the acclaimed author of the New York Times-bestsellers The Hidden Life of Trees, The Inner Life of Animals, and The Secret Wisdom of Nature. His children's books include Can You Hear the Trees Talking? and Peter and the Tree Children. He spent over twenty years working for the forestry commission in Germany before leaving to put his ecological ideas into practice. Today he manages a forest academy and an environmentally friendly woodland in Germany, where he is working for the return of primeval forests.
Jane Billinghurst’s career has been in book publishing in the UK, the US, and Canada, as an editor, publisher, writer, and translator.

Es wurden Konzepte fur eine menschenfreundliche und gleichzeitig funktionale Krankenhaus- und Praxisumgebung entwickelt. Eine Gruppe des Studiengangs KunstTherapie der Hochschule fur Bildende Kunste Dresden unter Leitung von Frau Prof. Doris Titze hat sich zwei Jahre mit der Intensivstation des Diakonissenkrankenhauses Dresden auseinandergesetzt. Intensivstationen sind ublicherweise auf maximale Funktionalitat, freien Zugang zum Korper der Patienten, kurze Wege fur die Pflegenden oder Keimfreiheit ausgerichtet. Hierhinein Farbe oder Form zu bringen, ohne die Funktion zu beeintrachtigen, ist ein Kunststuck. Wenn dabei noch heilende Aspekte eingebracht werden, die den Intensivmedizinern erstmal fernliegen, obwohl sie dazu beitragen, auch deren Arbeit zu befordern, ist das ein Glucksfall fur das Krankenhaus, die Mitarbeiter, die Patienten und das Gesundheitssystem.
