In my previous publication on prayer “Shameless Persistence…the audacity of purposeful praying”, the general focus was more on the motivation rather than the mechanics of praying. This current volume is designed to both encourage and enhance that Journey. This book will deal with prayer as a significant relational tool and God’s provision of a place by him where Intimacy is established, and every engagement with him becomes a meaningful one. This secret place must never be limited to a physical space or specific time, but wherever and whenever we engage with God, he is there. We do not have to extend an invitation we just have to show up, whether in the privacy of our hearts, a place of our own choosing, or wherever he has designated for this encounter. This secret place is available to all those who will love, trust, and devote themselves to God. It is a place where we can repose ourselves in confident expectation as we fellowship and engage in extensive and extended dialogue with our personal God and friend.It should come as no surprise that God desires to give us access to this place of extreme intimacy and fellowship through the vehicle or avenue of prayer. It is Secret but accessible, for God will always reward the efforts of the diligent. We will discover the real power of getting into that place with God. This will transform our lives, give us a proper perspective of God, provide answers to the many questions related to life and destiny, and grant security and solace. It is where we wrestle with God like Jacob, forge a friendship like Moses, receive supernatural help like Paul and Silas, and where you will have an extraordinary encounter with a relational God.The Power of the Secret Place will require a shift in our understanding that prayer must become our primary and principal concern rather than our last resort.It is my expectation that access to this place will lead to issues being resolved, battles won, relationships established or renewed, revelations received and both correction and guidance received. I trust that this book will both enable and challenge your walk with God. The Secret place is also a Sacred place. Let us bear in mind that the secret place is not intended for visitation but habitation.
