Inhaltsangabe

The Bestselling Superhero Thriller series goes in a bold new direction! Xander Drew must use the formidable powers gifted to him via genetic engineering to stop a new criminal on the streets of Los Angeles: the villainous Blackheart, whose powers bear a striking resemblance to his own! At the same time, a gang war is brewing in Xander's home town of Coral Beach, Maine which is threatening to decimate the town's youth - can Xander stop Blackheart in time to put an end to the violence back home? "LeDrew provides his typical pro-level pacing: a few early scenes involving the then-unnamed threat were pitch-perfect. Never a one-note novel, we are treated to moments of sadness and elation, fear and relief. Engen Books always explore a wider range than their base classification would suggest." Jay Paulin, Ink'd Well Comics, October 2011 "LeDrew's work is horror that emerges from the urban fantasy tradition - the introduction of a fantastical element into a true-to-life, modern setting." The Telegram, Aug 13, 2010 "I'm getting to be very fond of these books ." The Northeast Avalon Times, January 2010
