Rav Yehuda Leib Halevi Ashlag was a mysterious figure whose life and works inspired the movie The Matrix among other pop trends. He was a renowned Kabbalist, meaning that he felt and perceived our reality at a depth concealed from the average person, enabling him to describe in great detail the wars and upheavals that would appear in decades ahead. More importantly, he tried to convey a method by which any person with the desire could come to the same wondrous perception he had, and wield control over one's own destiny.
