Ted Thompson, Bedford-born, recalls some of this meandering footsteps (through life). Surviving early days as the only boy in a family of six sisters, he also emerged safely from the debris of the 1946 explosion of the Ammunition Depot in Burnside (Bedford), passed unscathed , during his seafaring days among the icebergs of the North Atlantic , weathered eight years of university life in Halifax and forty-one years as a minister of the United Church of Canada. During his ministry he shared life’s joys and sorrows with hundreds of people.
