Über die Autorinnen und Autoren
Periodista y fotógrafo, Simon Richmond se ha especializado como escritor de viajes desde principios de los noventa, y empezó a trabajar para Lonely Planet en 1999, con la guía Central Asia. Desde entonces ha perdido la cuenta del número de guías de Lonely Planet en las que ha colaborado como documentalista y escritor, pero algunos de los países que ha cubierto son Australia, China, la India, Irán, Japón, Corea, Malasia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Rusia, Singapur, Sudáfrica y Turquía. Después de estudiar periodismo en la Universidad de California, Michael Kohn se lanzó a trabajar como corresponsal para varias cadenas y agencias, incluidas Bloomberg, la BBC y Reuters. Hace casi una década que Daniel McCrohan, nacido en el Reino Unido y afincado en Beijing, escribe sobrela India para Lonely Planet y viaja al país por temporadas, desde su primera visita a principios de los años noventa. Siempre atraído por lo desconocido, Tom Masters ha soñado con ir a los sitios más recónditos de la Tierra desde que aprendió a andar.
