Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Neil Wilson nació en Escocia donde ha residido buena parte de su vida. Vive en Perthshire y ha sido escritor a tiempo completo desde 1988, trabajando en más de 80 guías para diferentes editoriales, incluidos los títulos de Lonely Planet de países como Escocia, Inglaterra, Irlanda y Praga. Entusiasta de las actividades al aire libre, desde niño Neil es un activo senderista, ciclista de montaña, marinero, snowboarder, pescador de caña y escalador, y ha subido y recorrido a pie los cuatro continentes, incluidos los ascensos al Jebel Toubkal (Marruecos), el monte Kinabalu (Borneo), el Old Man of Hoy en las Islas Orcadas (Escocia) y la cara noreste del Half Dome en el valle de Yosemite (California). Como la mayoría de autores de Lonely Planet, Neil entró en la edición de guías de viaje por accidente. Desde entonces, Neil ha escrito y ha hecho fotografías para docenas de guías de varias editoriales.
