Young adult fantasy novel featuring magic and steam

It was supposed to have been an ordinary work day for Will Thorpe. How could he have foreseen being trapped in another world with only his wits and three steam locomotives? Will quickly learns that nothing is at it seems and that just being human has put him in great danger!

Will is caught in a war between magical creatures, fighting for their very survival, and the humans that seek to eliminate them! Will he ever be able to return home and, after meeting Rosa, does he even want to?

What can an ordinary young man, a kitsune female and three old steam engines possibly do to change anything?

No matter what he chooses to do, nothing will ever be the same again — not on Earth or on this new, mysterious world.
