Inhaltsangabe

THE MELLO-KINGS juggled high school, touring, recording and TV appearances to become one of the best loved modern harmony vocal groups at the peak of the rock and roll explosion.

Tonite, Tonite, the first of a string of fan favorites, would later be covered by superstars Frankie Valli, Dion and many others. It still regularly appears in lists of the greatest doo wop songs of all time.

NEIL ARENA's story of his time as an original Mello-King is a unique window on the world of the 1950s teen idol - inspiring, funny and moving. It's a tale of dedication, boundless energy and those trying to grab a piece of the music industry during its greatest revolution.
