Savage wolves. Enemy soldiers. Evil spirits. Three children must face all of these to save one life.

Asger and Struan are the men of their house. Their father is at war, and the two boys spend their days milking cows and practicing for the day when it’s their turn to fight.

But when a girl with magical powers arrives at their mother’s farmhouse with the news that a noble dragon, an old friend of their mother’s, is dying, Asger and Struan are given a new mission: Journey with the girl to the dragon’s mountain home and give him his cure.

The road is fraught with danger. The three children must risk their lives to save the life of a stranger. It won’t be easy. But it will be an adventure.
