Suzy Mallard has advanced in status since finding the FeederFinder. With her leadership and direction, most of the critters use FeederFinders to find their food and be alerted to predators. Parents rest knowing that these great devices keep an eye on their children for them. However, some of the critters seem to disappear or get injured, and others have knowledge that can save their backyard if the critters would listen.
In Part 2, the FeederFinder Friends (Triple Fs) enjoy more games and advantages, and make new and unexpected friends, as the former friends (Resisters) fade away and are only welcomed back if they follow the FeederFinder ways.
Will the critters be able to get past these divisions and stay friends? Will they be able to save their neighborhood?
Will some have to leave, or even worse, be harmed?
This story is part of Backyard Tales, stories that help grownups and children connect to creation and each other when they read the stories and then venture outside to meet the "characters' for themselves. Each book includes academic, life, and character lessons. Nancy Nason Guss creates worlds where she wants to live, where all characters are good, find happy solutions to their issues, and live in harmony. In her world, there is always a happy ending; however, this tale is different. Curt, Selvyn, Mr. Jay, and other favorite critters face new situations and conflicts that mirror what people have been enduring. Perhaps the critters will find answers that help everyone.
