Über die Autorinnen und Autoren

Joseph Caffiero, the author, is a former elementary school teacher. He also taught Tai Chi to students from kindergarten age to senior citizens. He has a Black Belt in Aikido and likes to dance, camp and go on nature walks. Joseph has been trained in meditation techniques and in the bodywork modalities of Trager, Zero Balancing and Wholistic Massage. He is involved in "polishing his personal crystal" by taking classes about metaphysics and participating in an on-going Study Group discussing topics on spirituality. Joseph is a new grandfather. "I meditate to access inner strength and feel more empowered when making decisions from a peaceful place within. The desire to write Adventures in Your Dream: THE DREAM, for children, was to help them cultivate their inner power and nourish it with mindful meditation, which enables them to develop an inner strength to help handle adversity, such as bullying."

Louise Roy, is a retired high school art teacher. She received her bachelor's degree in art and teaching credential from California State University of Long Beach, and a Masters in Art from North Western State University of Louisiana. She now participates in "Art in the Schools," a program sponsored by the San Benito Art Council, of which she is on the Board of Directors. Louise, also teaches art to special needs high school students and adults. She participates yearly in open studio and local exhibits."My paintings are a reflection of my journey through life. What I love about art is all of its creative possibilities. Teaching, sharing techniques, and working with young people has been a big part of my life and is most rewarding."
