Over a century of combined years of ministry has produced a mountain of faith stories.
This biblically-sound, story-based devotional series also celebrates God’s faithfulness for
over five decades of marriage. In Volume One, Jim and Karon presented life lessons to
their earthly family. Here in Volume Two, they tell their faith stories by focusing their
attention on their fellow ministry family of Skilled Helpers—those who serve as pastors,
ministers, missionaries, ministry wives, chaplains, law enforcement officers, firefighters,
and those who now serve or have served in the military. These devotionals are organized
around four themes:

Part Three: Jim’s Lessons from a Military Veteran
Part Four: Karon’s Lessons from a Cop’s Daughter
Included at the end of each of the devotionals is a section, “For Personal Reflection,” to
stimulate your thinking and encourage further action. Helpful tools are also included in
the Appendix to help equip you to minister in the home, the church, and the community.
