Doug the Tug: One Wheel Rupert is the third book in the Doug the Tug series. This great story is about Rupert, a tugboat that is not given a fair chance by a mean tug in the harbor because Rupert has one less propellor (wheel) than the other tugs. Rupert shows him that just because some tugboats might not have the same number of wheels or propellors, that it does not mean they cannot do the same job.
One wheel Rupert is based off the author's grandfather Rupert who as a teenager lost one of his arms. He was able live a long and normal life proving every day that he was just like everyone else but usually stronger.
About the author: Captain Doug Edmonds
Captain Doug is a towboat captain and has been working on the water since 2005. Captain Doug can be found navigating the Intracoastal Waterway from Florida to Texas and on the Lower Mississippi River. All of the books in the Doug the Tug series have all been written during Captain Doug’s off time while on his boat.
